What do these words mean?
- Points
- Where you would be if every game ended right now. A game still being played counts for whoever is ahead in it, so this moves as the scores do — and it can go down. A game level at that moment counts for nobody, the same way a real tie pays nobody.
- Best possible
- The most you could still finish on, if every game you have left goes your way. It disappears once every game is over, because by then it is just your score.
- “If they win”
- Once one game is left, the two buttons above the table name the two teams in it instead. Pick one and the table shows the week finished — the place everybody ends on and the money they take. It is not a guess: those are the only two ways the week can end, and one of them is what will happen. Where two players end level on points, the total points in that last game settle which of them finishes ahead, so the table shows the range they are playing for rather than splitting it between them.
- Right
- How many games you called correctly.
- Tie-break
- Your guess at the total points scored in the Monday night game. It never adds to your score — it only settles who finishes ahead when two people tie.
- Off by
- How far your tie-break guess was from the real total, once the Monday night game is over. Closest wins the tie.
- In line for
- What you would take from this week’s pot if it ended right now. The top 4 get paid.
